Our Story
Our Responsibility
At Personio, we believe that social responsibility encompasses caring for one another as well as our planet. From day one, Personio’s shareholder agreement has included the commitment to transfer 1% of Personio’s equity to a charitable foundation at the time of an IPO. However, as we cannot afford to wait to tackle our generation’s most pressing issues, we launched Personio Foundation already in 2021 to start supporting organizations that drive positive change for people and planet.
Our Expertise
The Foundation is founded by Hanno, Roman, Arseniy and Jonas who, over the past years, have grown Personio to become one of the leading HR Tech Companies in Europe, supporting over 10,000 customers. In addition to financial help for the organisations we support, Personio Foundation will also share the knowledge gained from building Personio’s business and the lessons learnt from working with thousands of customers every day.
Our Commitment
As a result of the 1% commitment, Personio Foundation is a shareholder in Personio whilst operating as an independent entity. Besides the 1% equity stake, the foundation received $3M in initial donations from its founders, Personio’s investors and from Personio.
